Because of the shorter lifespan of our pets, we stress the importance of an annual physical examination. Thorough check-ups and preventive care can help alleviate serious health problems. We offer a wide range of veterinary services to keep your companions feeling their best:
Diagnostic and Therapeutic Services: Our hospital is equipped to provide full diagnostic and therapeutic services to care for your pets' complete health care needs.
 Routine Wellness Exams and Vaccinations: We believe the best way to achieve long lives of our patients start with annual exams. We believe in using the minimum number of vaccinations needed to provide for healthy living.
Surgical Services: Our state-of-the-art surgical suite provide for a variety of surgical procedures both routine and complex.
Anesthesia: We utilize the safest available anesthetics to provide an extra margin of safety, especially for our older or high-risk patients. Using the most modern equipment, the patient's vital signs are monitored during all anesthetic procedures.
Internal Medicine Consults: We offer referrals to an internal medicine specialist who performs ultrasounds, endoscopic procedures and helps us with the diagnosis of more complicated cases.
Orthopedic and Soft Tissue Surgery Consults: In-hospital referral for all aspects of orthopedic cases. Highly qualified doctors can perform surgery and aftercare.
Cardiac Consults: On site consults with board certified cardiologist for all aspects of cardiac care.
Radiology Services: Our on-site, modern X-ray equipment provides high quality radiographs to aid in the quick diagnosis of many disorders.
Electrocardiograph Services:
We provide ECG services on-site as well as consultations with cardiology specialists.
Dentistry: Our dental services include teeth cleaning and polishing, dental X-rays, tooth extractions and minor oral surgery.
Laboratory: Our in-house laboratory facilities provide for serum chemistry, hematology, serology, urinalysis and parasite testing. We also utilize commercial veterinary laboratories for specialized diagnostics and consultations.
Permanent Identification: We offer microchip identification. Avid microchips can be placed during routine surgery or on an outpatient basis. We also carry Euro-chips if you plan to travel abroad.
Pharmacy: We maintain a complete inventory of pharmaceuticals, vitamins, shampoos, flea and tick control products and heartworm preventatives to meet the needs of your pet. We also carry a full line of prescription diets.
Drive-Thru Window: Convenient way to pick up pre-ordered prescription medication, food and over the counter products.
 Acupuncture: Currently we have two doctors who utilize acupuncture to help with their patients' well being. Once per month we have a referral DVM who performs acupuncture and chiropractic.

Laser Therapy: Provides a sterile, pain-free, surgery-free, drug-free treatment which is used to treat a variety of injuries, wounds, fractures, neurological conditions, numerous dermatological problems, and pain.
Massage Therapy: Certified canine therapist on staff. Massage available by request, popular for geriatric dogs and animals who are boarding at AAAH.
Chemotherapy: We provide chemotherapy based on treatment protocols from referring oncologists.
Dietary Counseling: We will provide guidance regarding your pet's nutritional needs for each life stage or medical condition, including dietary requirements for growth, weight maintenance and performance.
Behavioral Counseling: We can provide advice regarding the correction of problems such as excessive barking, chewing, spraying, scratching, digging, house soiling and aggression
Medical Boarding: We provide extended boarding service to patients who are medically challenged. Medical boarders are supervised by a technician at all times, including overnight.

Conventional Boarding: We provide boarding as a service to our clients. Pets may be dropped off and picked up during regular business hours Monday through Saturday.
Grooming: Routine and therapeutic bathing services are available. Full Service grooming is available within the hospital at Groom n' Go. Call 663-3360 for information.
Emergency Care: We provide Emergency/Critical care services 24/7/365.
